About bartaco Family Fund (bFF)

bartaco Family Fund (bFF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Arlington, Virginia, created by and for the bartaco team, whose mission is to support bartaco team members during times of need and opportunity for growth. The origin story of the bartaco Family Fund roots back to the onset of the pandemic, our team members, the heart of our restaurants, had their daily lives changed in a profound way. We pushed everything aside and made it our priority to provide help and resources for our team. We asked our communities for support – from gratuity left on takeout orders to matching proceeds of gift cards sales during the first few months of the pandemic – we all pitched in to make a collective impact. Through the money raised, we have been able to issue more than 900+ grants to our current and former team members that have been affected by COVID, faced hardship or have been devastated by a tragedy. This fund is a direct reflection of bartaco’s values as a company and we are so proud of our teams, guests, and vendors. What started as an employee relief fund to provide interim support for our team members that were impacted by the pandemic, grew to be much more, and will continue to grow as we receive support from our team members and partners. This continued support will allow our organization to expand our relief efforts – including educational purposes and scholarships.
