About Bird and Bear Coffee
Coffee has always been a way to bring people together. In mid-2020, when we were more isolated than ever, we were looking for a way to connect with the people we missed – friends, family, and neighbors. So after nearly 20 years in the industry, we decided it was time to build our own coffee company from the ground up. We named the company Bird and Bear to remind us why we’re doing this. Not just for our twin girls (nicknamed Lil’ Bird and Lil’ Bear), but for the future we’re striving for. That means investing in the communities and environments we’re connected to, sourcing coffees from producers we’ve known for a decade, and introducing their coffee and stories to friends and neighbors. Together, we’re making something worth sharing, creating bonds and investing in the well-being of farm workers and the environment.
