About BKNIT

Bknit focuses on entirely British made products with sourcing and manufacturing reflecting the back story and heritage of our textile industry. Bknit is a primium contemporary British brand that is well pried, has an emphasis on craftmanship and details, and is locally manufactured, For Bknit manufacturing is fundamentally about getting a quality product at the end of the design process. Scotalnd's knitwear is word-renowned for its consistent quality and my family home in Glasgow is a two hour drive to the knitwear Mill, where I have the opportunity to work with the team on each product to produce beautifully crafted luxury knitwear using sate of the art electronic knitting technology combined with hand-finishing. I use the finest British Geelong Lambswool, and elegant, comfortable and practical material, spun in Yorkshire by Z. Hinchliffe, who have been spinning quality yarns for over 200 years. I design everything in London, where I am based, taking advantage of the close relationships I have formed through the RCA and finding London to be a wondeful place for visual stimulation.
