About Black Golf Club

For many Americans, there is a story of a dad or mentor who ushered a young kid onto the golf course and that kid reaped the rewards and normalize the many benefits from the game of golf. For most Black Americans, this is not our story. The game of golf was inaccessible to our ancestor so there was no one to usher us into the clubhouse. This problem is a disadvantage socially, economically and politically. Our membership model is designed to lower the barrier to entry for a community that has been historically left out. BGC is ushering the next generation of Black golfers into the clubhouse. Our system is an ascending pathway to skill building, relationship building, business building, and course confidence.
