Mission Statement To maximize Bloc Holding’s intrinsic value by owning all or part of a diversified group of businesses and commercial properties that generates cash and above-average returns. Strategy: The long-term economic goal is to maximize Bloc Holdings’ average annual rate of gain in intrinsic business value on a yearly basis by building a financial position, that features large amounts of excess liquidity, medium-term obligations that are modest, and many sources of earnings and cash. This liquidity will be constantly refreshed by an inflow of earnings from acquiring and developing new and varied streams of earnings from the diversified group of businesses and commercial properties. The management of the Bloc Holdings’ will avoid leveraging up acquired businesses and properties; grant unusual autonomy to its subsidiaries managers; hold the purchased companies & properties over a long term period and increase and sustain the operating businesses durable competitive advantages. Bloc Holdings’ has a policy of reinvesting earnings for growth, diversity and strength. Bloc Holdings will pay no dividends until such a time that capital allocation of retained earnings can no longer generate an above average return on the capital employed.
