Brekke & Strand Akustikk AS is an independent and focused specialist company with acoustics, noise and vibrations as its field of expertise. Our continued focus on technical expertise, independence, cost-effectiveness and good customer service ensures that we can contribute to the largest and most prestigious acoustic tasks in the country. Our advice must be clear and constructible. We are a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers, Norway (RIF), and we provide complete acoustic consulting of high quality. Since its inception in 1988, the company has grown to become the largest overall environment within acoustic consultancy in Norway and one of the largest in the world. Almost half of our consultants have more than 15 years' experience and all have a master degree in engineering, a doctoral degree or equivalent. The company's strong professional commitment can be seen e.g. in our presence in the country's research environments in acoustics, and we are natural participants in national and international standardization work. As of April 2020, Brekke & Strand is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) and ISO 45001:2018 (safety and work environment management).
