About British School of Watchmaking
The British School of Watchmaking is an independent institution and member of the Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational Program Worldwide Partnership (WOSTEP). The school looks for individuals with the ability, aptitude and desire to become the exceptional watchmakers the modern market requires. As the first school in Europe to offer both the WOSTEP 1800 Hour and WOSTEP 3000 Hour courses, students and employers alike can select the training route which best fits their needs and budget. The school opened its doors to students on 4th September 2006 and is extremely proud of the fact that all graduates since have secured employment within the watch industry upon graduation. A claim all educators would like to make but very few can. The school's success is not exclusively down to the first-rate teaching and facilities or to the exceptional WOSTEP courses taught. The school has strong links to the industry and most major brands. These links via the school's support network help ensure all teaching is relevant to the current and future needs of the UK watch industry. If you want to be a watchmaker or are an employer with training needs, get in touch as we can help.
