Founded in 1978, COG is a national organic farmer and consumer association and a registered educational charity. COG offers training and resources to raise awareness about organics and assist farmers and gardeners in adopting sustainable and commercially viable, organic production methods. We are engaged in policy work and industry development at the local, regional and national level and offer a voice for organic regenerative farmers and consumers to governments on matters related to food and farming. Our Vision Canadian Organic Growers envisions a regenerative and resilient food and farming system across Canada. Our Mission COG provides education, advocacy and leadership to help build an agricultural system that empowers farmers and consumers, enhances human health, builds community and mitigates climate change while increasing Canadian food sovereignty.
