About Caring and Sharing of Walton County
Caring and Sharing is a non-profit 501-c3 organization. We operate as a thrift store to generate funding for individuals & families in our community in crisis situations. We have 2 thrift stores in Defuniak Springs, Florida. We operate solely on the items donated to our stores & we resell the items to help keep the doors open for operation & members in our community who find their selves in a crises situation with past due utility assistance (lights cannot be cut off & no deposits) & emergency food & clothing. We participate in the Angel Tree program at Christmas time for children ages birth up to age 12, who might otherwise go without a Christmas. We also provide an outlet for community service & workfare workers to perform hours needed for the state.
