About Cashman Equipment
Cashman Equipment Corp. (CEC), headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, was founded in 1995 as a barge rental and marine contracting company with a fleet of 10 barges, 9 of which were built in the 1950s and 1960s. From this humble beginning, CEC now boasts the youngest and one of the largest fleets in the industry with over 120 vessels, including inland and ocean barges ranging in size from 120’ to 400’, accommodation barges, as well as specialized oil spill recovery barges and cranes. CEC is a global provider of vessels and marine services, maintaining offices and fleets around the world including the United States, Mexico, South America, Singapore/Australia, the Persian Gulf, West Africa and the Caspian Sea. To complement our barge fleet, CEC’s affiliate tug company,Servicio Marina Superior (SMS), operates both inland and offshore tugs with a special emphasis on the international market. We have tugs up to 100 tons bollard pull. In Mexico, CEC’s affiliate, CHM Maritime SAPI DE C.V. (CHM), operates a fleet of Mexican flagged tugs and barges based in the Bay of Campeche. In addition to barge rentals, CEC is a fully integrated and diverse marine services company, providing marine construction and general contracting, marine transportation, project cargo services, oil spill response services, marine accommodation services, and salvage and wreck removal support services. As owners/operators of the World’s largest fleet of ocean going deck barges, wherever you require barges and marine support, CEC is positioned to assist you.
