About Cedar Grove Blueberry Farm
Our story begins in Warren Center, PA with our grandparents’ Emma and John Pelissier, known to us as Meme and Pepe. Every summer since we could remember they would take us to the family farm in the picturesque rural dairy country of PA. No TV, no cell phones, just a radio with one classical station. This annual excursion included fishing, fossil hunting in the creek and the berries. Red currants, blackberry, raspberry and of course the blueberries. We would make all sorts of goodies with the berries. There was Meme’s pies, Pepe’s Chateau Green Acres (berries soaked in vodka), jams, jellies and pancakes. As we got older we would time our trips for berry season. So, it’s no mistake that when we discovered the farm in Cedar Grove we all fell in love. We invite you to join us in our passion for family, farming, food and fermentation.
