Our services also include creating and publishing technical manuals using the Content Management System (CMS), or Technical authoring services based on Simplified Technical English (STE) and Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) standards. We are a UK Based Engineering services and contract business company founded in 1985 to provide Engineering Services to the Automotive Industry, initially to Rover Group. Although the first contract was in engine design at Longbridge, Chartsign started to specialise in Electrical Design. This soon extended to all aspects of Automotive Electrics and Electronics. We were involved at the concept stage of Rover Group’s Testbook diagnostic tool, writing the first body electric diagnostic to be used in production. Research, develop, and write content for printed manuals, documentation, and supporting materials for software, hardware, technical procedures, and computer-related services. Standard graphics (Electrical and Hardware) required for the manuals are prepared by professional Technical Illustrators. Softwares used as per the requirement at customer site, some of our expertise are below. Authoring tools: Adobe Frame maker structured, Epic-Editor, HTML & XML based Online Help, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Illustration Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, ISodraw, Indesign, ISOdraw. CAD tools: Team center, VisMockup, AutoCad, Crew Elements, Catia V5
