About Chemical and Process Engineering Club (CPEC) of UWA
Since our founding in 2008, we have been striving to connect chemical and process engineering students with industry. Our mission is to “empower UWA Chemical and Process engineering students to thrive by developing industry-ready skills, forging meaningful industry connections, and growing as leaders who create a lasting impact in the engineering profession”. CPEC provides opportunities to go beyond the lecture hall and experience more of the diverse engineering field. We facilitates three key events throughout the year: our flagship Industry student networking night “Engineering Your Career” (EYC), hands on experience site tours, and impactful industry presentations, usually centred around process safety and technical challenges. Our club has a strong university presence and is well known for organising valuable, highly attended events.
