About Chinese for Families

Chinese for Families is a Chinese language instructional program and publisher. Our goal is to make learning Mandarin a fun and enriching experience for students of all ages. We produce multi-media content for students who want to learn Mandarin as a second language. It's never too early or too late to start. We believe in child-centered learning through play -- kids learn best when they are having fun. We create fun CDs, books, games & more to help kids sing and tell stories. All our products undergo classroom testing with multiple age levels. Our custom curricula is based on the American Council for Teachers of Foreign Language (ACTFL) guidelines, best practices identified by the College Board, and geared toward AP Chinese exam preparation. We work with students as young as 2 through adult at the beginning and intermediate level. Chinese for Families offers classes and materials in the greater metro Philadelphia area and online using immersion and research-based instructional methods.
