Citizens Advice in West Sussex (North, South, East) is a registered charity, and part of a nationwide network of Citizens Advice. We offer free, confidential, independent, impartial advice to everyone on the problems they may be facing. Issues we advise on include welfare benefits, debt, housing, employment, relationship issues and more. We help more than 30,000 people every year on average. We are staffed by a highly knowledgeable, dedicated team of around 270 volunteers and 50 paid staff. We have Advice Centres in Crawley, Horsham, Worthing, Shoreham-by-Sea, Haywards Heath, East Grinstead and Burgess Hill. We offer other services such as the Macmillan Welfare Rights Service and Universal Credit advice. We also gather evidence, from what our clients tell us, on policies and practices which are unfair. We present this evidence to the people who make decisions to try to make changes. We also contribute to national Citizens Advice campaigns.
