About Cole & Ashcroft
Cole & Ashcroft began with humble beginnings. It all started in a small warehouse in Rosenberg, Texas in 1992. Paul Wagner, the company's founder, discovered there wasn't a retail solution for the DIY consumer to create their own gift basket at home. At that time, professionally made gift baskets were becoming very popular. With a background in retail, Wagner put together a plan-o-gram of consumer packaged products for the consumer to create their own professional-looking gift basket. Our shrink wrap bag was the first that could be used with a common hairdryer and our crinkle shred offering was the first in a retail-sized package. Our footprint grew to include many wrap and fill options over the years. Fast forward 30 years and today, Cole & Ashcroft has grown to two distribution facilities and two manufacturing facilities with over 125,000 square feet under roof. While we still have some traditional gift basket supply items, our product offering has become more mainstream to include celebration packaging, seasonal supply items, and home bake packaging. Cole & Ashcroft sells only through its retail partners. But with over 40,000 retail outlets and each with its own online presence, our products are within a couple of miles or a click away from all 350 million Americans!
