TheRayTracer™ Classic w/ User's Guide, 2nd Ed. @ $79.99 is the Windows® 8, 8.1, 10 Home/Pro 3D CAD software application for rendering mathematically modeled graphical objects in overall photorealistic computer scenes and/or prototypes with all the aesthetics of shapes, color, lighting, and shadows. It has an interactive, textual user-interface (TUI) with a fast ray-tracing engine; and, it generates bitmaps as color output. Your computer scenes and/or prototypes can be a mixture of simple and compound objects. It uses pure Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG)--which consists of the Boolean operations union, intersection, and difference. Use it for building hierarchical compound objects from a pool of 10 primitives (n/i plane), which themselves first transform into simple objects and subsequently may become part of a reusable compound object/sub-object. Also, it features breakthrough technology for simple and compound transparent objects. I disruptively refer to the driving mechanism of the graphics engine as a software laser engine-device (SLED) rather than the textbooks' "camera" because of the contrasting directionality of the emanating rays for the two distinct concepts.
