About Community Intelligence

Community Intelligence LLC (hereafter, Community Intelligence) is a research and evaluation firm specializing in advancing community based approaches to improving health and safety with a focus on working in and with multicultural populations. We are committed to helping increase the capacity of vulnerable communities - and the organizations that serve them - to: (1) identify conditions that impact public health, mental health, safety, and community well-being; (2) respond to those conditions in innovative ways; and, (3) evaluate the collective impact of their efforts. We are specialists in the development, outreach/engagement, implementation and evaluation of culturally competent projects that have been tailored to address the needs of specific communities. ‘Community Intelligence’ refers to the capacity of historically underserved, underrepresented, underfunded, underdeveloped and/or depopulated communities to address conditions that impact public health, mental health and community well-being by responding in creative and appropriate ways and evaluating policy and programmatic initiatives in the face of otherwise adverse conditions. High levels of ‘Community Intelligence’ are indicated by a healthy, vibrant, sustainable community in which a high quality of life; equitable public health; good mental health; beneficial environment and community well-being is enjoyed and celebrated by its inhabitants.
