About Community Solutions for Children, Families, and Individuals
Everybody faces challenges in their lives. Nobody should have to face those challenges alone. Community Solutions makes sure they don't have to. For 50 years, Community Solutions has responded to the growing and changing behavioral health needs of children, families, and adults in Santa Clara and San Benito Counties. As the most comprehensive nonprofit human service provider in our region, we serve over 6000 individuals each year who are facing significant challenges due to mental illness, domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, substance disorders, severe family dysfunction, and homelessness. Our mission is to create opportunities for positive change by promoting and supporting the full potential of individuals, the strengths of families, and the well being of our community. We advance our mission by building emotionally healthy families, youth, and individuals, and increasing their interdependence, self-reliance, and safety. We provide wellness and recovery-based behavioral health services, empowerment-based domestic violence and sexual assault services, and strength-based prevention and intervention services.
