English follows Le CEPN est l'association de Premières Nations et de communautés qui poursuivent un but commun en vue de maîtriser entièrement leur éducation. La collaboration mutuelle leur permettra d'y parvenir. Elles confieront des mandats au secrétariat du CEPN pendant les assemblées dans le but de soutenir, de promouvoir et de défendre tous les intérêts et les activités des membres qui ont trait à l'éducation, tout en respectant leur identité culturelle unique et leurs croyances communes ainsi qu'en faisant valoir leurs langues, leurs valeurs et leurs traditions. Vingt-deux communautés des Premières Nations du Québec se sont dotées d’un organisme régional représentatif en vue de défendre leurs intérêts et de les appuyer dans la réalisation de leur pleine compétence en matière d’éducation. Le CEPN vient les soutenir dans la mise en place d’un système d’éducation complet et respectueux de leur culture, de leurs valeurs, de leurs traditions et de leur identité propre, le tout dans un esprit de collaboration mutuelle. --------------- The FNEC is an association of First Nations and communities, whose common purpose is to achieve full jurisdiction over their education. This will be accomplished through mutual collaboration, and in providing mandates to the Education Secretariat in Assembly, to support, promote, inform and defend the interests and actions of members in regards to matters of education while respecting their unique cultural identities and common beliefs, and promoting their languages, values, and traditions. Twenty-two First Nations communities in Quebec are represented by a regional organization that defends their interests and supports them in achieving complete jurisdiction over their education. The FNEC supports them in implementing a complete education system that respects their culture, values, traditions and identity in a spirit of mutual collaboration
