About Cooperating Volunteers

Cooperating Volunteers is a social enterprise dedicated to community development through international volunteer experiences. We serve as a bridge for all volunteers seeking culturally immersive experiences and cooperation with communities in developing countries. We collaborate with volunteer organizations in each destination to organize and support participants in various volunteer programs. Our mission is to provide individuals with social and/or environmental awareness the opportunity to engage with communities in need. We have 8 own destinations (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Senegal, India, Bali, and the Philippines), each with its own local team year-round. These projects encompass education, childcare, construction, environmental, and animal protection initiatives. In September, we launched our own NGO, "Cooperating Volunteers NGO," with the aim of developing and creating more projects in our existing locations. Currently, we have two ongoing projects: installing water tanks in Jiambiani (Zanzibar) and constructing additional classrooms at Brilliant Brains School in Kabarole (Uganda).
