About Cottonwood Gulch Expeditions
Cottonwood Gulch Expeditions sponsors educational wilderness expeditions and outdoor programs in the American Southwest that promote personal growth, scientific, historic, and cultural discovery as well as a knowledgeable environmental ethic among all those who participate. We are an educational 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been running outdoor learning expeditions in the Southwest since 1926. Our programs include summer programs based out in the Zuni Mountains near Thoreau, New Mexico. Our school and after-school programs are based out of our office headquarters in Albuquerque. We also sponsor programs with the Youth Conservation Corps, Students in the Wilderness Initiative, Classrooms Get Outdoors, and our new semester gap-year program.
