About Coventry House School of Ministry

Our primary mission as a ministry is Luke 4:18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor." We have three program areas that make up Coventry House School of Ministry: Becoming a Christian Counselor, Virtual Counseling Services, and our Barnabas Initiative. Our Becoming a Christian Counselor program is designed to train Christian Counselors in the Messiah Method Counseling System designed by Dr. Marlin Lance, Ph.D., DCC, DPT, DPSc. Our Virtual Counseling Services is a professional counseling service for people who need counseling to handle a problem or difficulty they are going through, and these services are free to anyone. We do accept love offerings. We do every session on Zoom so that it is safe and encrypted as well as following HIPPA standards. Our Barnabas Initiative is for Pastors and Ministry workers who need counseling services. It utilizes our Professional Virtual Counseling Services and is also free. We do every session on Zoom so that it is safe and encrypted as well as following HIPPA standards.
