THE COWORKATION CONCEPT - WHERE WORK MEETS LIFE: Sometimes we need to work ON our business, not simply IN it. Sometimes we need to take a back step and take a look at the bigger picture. The idea behind a coworkation is that by getting out of our day-to-day environment, connecting with other passionate and driven people, in beautiful locations, we can find clarity, generate creativity and be inspired. ** Take one step back, to move two steps forward ** Sometimes, we need to slow it down. We need to adjust the Think-Do balance, and take a moment to analyze our strategies, work on our processes, and reflect upon our vision. That can be practically impossible to do in our normal environments. A coworkation is designed to give you the space and mental clarity to enable new insights, a broader perspective and critical thinking, and decision-making. ** From a 40-hour work week, to a 168-hour life week ** But there is more to life than work. Running our own businesses we can fall into the trap of neglecting other aspects of our lives. We need to look at our lifestyles with a more holistic approach – taking into account all facets of our lives. A coworkation gives us the opportunity to analyse our habits & routines, and identify changes we can make to live in alignment with our values, priorities and our dreams. THE PROGRAM: The programming on a coworkation takes a holistic look at our work. We do meditation and yoga, eat delicious healthy meals and have workshops based on 3 focus areas: 1) Business big picture 2) Lifestyle design 3) Personal growth for professional development PAST EVENTS: Coworkation has organised retreats for small business owners in extraordinarily inspiring locations including: - A 13th century monastery in Spain, luxuriously renovated with an incredible infinity swimming pool overlooking a national park (3 events staged here). - Sailing the Mediterranean - A quaint village in Tuscany - A stunning villa in Bali NEXT UP: Fraser Island, Australia
