Cresco was founded in 1984 by Chet Cushing in Martinez California. Cresco enjoyed success and growth through the 1980s, creating a stellar reputation throughout Contra Costa County. NorCal Rental Group, LLC, acquired Cresco Equipment Rentals on May 5, 1997. Maintaining the Cresco name, the new Cresco opened facilities across the Bay Area and our corporate office in Livermore, California. The excellent skills learned under Chet and his General Manager Lou Rossi prepared the small Cresco Team to take on any challenge the new owners presented. They were a young and fearless group who did anything to satisfy a customer. That standard of excellence and work ethic, established at the very beginning, carries us and defines us to this day.
