About Cross of Light Diamond Foundation
The Cross of Light Diamond Foundation receives most of it's funds from the sale of the Cross of Light Diamond. In partnership with Rev. Paul Bupe of Zambia, the foundation supports the widows empowerment initiative. This groundbreaking strategy equips orphans and widows through skills training. These skills include a variety of vocations including: farming, aquaculture, gemstone faceting, computer training, family life skills, and a variety of other enterprises. The initative represents a powerful model for using a business as your mission. We support and mentor nationals in entrepreneurial ventures that take a family from sustenance farming to a sustainable business from which they are now giving back to their communities and mentoring others to do the same. This model helps illeviate the poverty mindset that is so debilitating among the poor.
