CrunchYard was formed in 2007 by Dr Renier Dreyer and Dr Andre Fourie. With roots in the aerospace industry, CrunchYard was founded with the vision to make HPC accessible to various scientific disciplines, industry sectors, use cases and jurisdictions – without the need for specialist HPC skills on the part of users. Since then, CrunchYard has established itself as both a pioneer and global leader in the provision of HPC solutions. We do not sell inventory, nor do we sell software. This technology-agnostic independence enables us to provide exactly the right solution for each user – whether they are active in Fluid Dynamics, Geosciences, Combustion Engineering, Finance, Graphics Rendering, Business Processing, terrain mapping, or any other science or discipline that can benefit from the use of true high performance computational power. For over fifteen years we’ve been eliminating the traditional pain points for our users around the globe and in a variety of sectors, industry segments and scientific disciplines. We’ve grown our team to include more specialists, including Dr Ken Nixon, Sonja van der Westhuizen and Peter Demetriou.
