About Deer Creek Chorale

Choral Artistry The Deer Creek Chorale is a multi-generational choir with over 70 non-auditioned singers from Maryland’s Baltimore & Harford counties and Southern Pennsylvania. A varied and challenging repertoire encourages vocal technique, musicianship and expression. The Chorale includes a Youth Choir, an Adult Choir (including High School students) and the Chamber Choir. The Chorale seeks to develop the potential of singers at all levels of experience. Personal Enrichment Choral singing provides an unusually strong bond between singers and is a uniquely satisfying experience. There are known physical and emotional health advantages to singing in a choir. Studies also indicate choral singers are more likely to be engaged in their community. Service Deer Creek Chorale sings locally and gives globally. Annual charitable projects allow members to engage in the community-at-large by dedicating time and effort to help others. This dual mission makes us unique from other community choirs. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
