About Denver Behavior Consultants
Denver Behavior Consultants was founded to provide children and families with the strategies needed to increase their success at home, school, and in the community. We are dedicated to providing Early Intervention, Mental Health, Social Skills Instruction, and Parent Education using evidence-based practices such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with developmental disabilities and delays, mental health disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, AD/HD, and learning disabilities. We are passionate about offering support to children in our community and have partnered with South Suburban Parks and Recreation and the Town of Castle Rock to offer Social Skills Group instruction to children preschool through elementary. Early intervention provides services to children birth through 3 years who demonstrate developmental needs. We provide Early Intervention Services through the Arapahoe and Douglas County Community Centered Board, Developmental Pathways. We currently can provide Developmental Intervention, Occupational Therapy, and Social Emotional Therapies with one of our talented therapists. These services typically occur in the home, utilizing a parent education model, since they are a critical member of the early intervention team. Our therapists provide intervention to target all areas of development (cognitive, fine and gross motor, adaptive skills, social emotional, and communication). Denver Behavior Consultants provides home based behavior support, using Applied Behavior Analysis and other evidence-based methods. We can help support you and your child, when you're dealing with challenging behavior. Our therapists can write Behavior Support Plans or just simply support your family with ideas and strategies for less challenging behaviors. Please contact us to schedule your one hour consultation.
