Designer Advantage, Inc. (DA) exclusively provides interior designers with bookkeeping, project management, and business management services. As the first company to provide a fully integrated bookkeeping, project administration and business management service exclusively to the interior design trade, DA's services enable interior designers to focus more time on their core competencies - sales and customer service - while improving both their overall profitability, capacity for growth and quality of life. DA was founded in January 2000 by Tom Ruskin and Marc Molinsky, who obtained his CPA after working at Ernst & Young for nearly five years. Tom and Marc recognized that there were no cost effective solutions available to assist designers with running the business side of an interior design. For nearly ten years, DA has accumulated a wealth of knowledge on how to run profitable design businesses and today, prides itself on not only performing the fundamental tasks of bookkeeping and managing purchase orders for its clients, but also providing valuable financial, sales and marketing and operational consulting on an ongoing basis. DA has established a culture that prides itself on integrity, hard work, and excellence in all that we do for our clients.
