About Dientes Community Dental Care
Our mission is to create lasting oral health for the underserved children and adults in Santa Cruz County and neighboring communities. Dientes’ providers bilingual care at two clinics, one in Santa Cruz and one in Watsonville. Our main mid-county fifteen-chair facility in Santa Cruz is open six days a week. We also provide services at the new Watsonville and Dental Health Center co-located with the County of Santa Cruz five days a week. We provide oral health education, hygiene, general dentistry, endodontics, and periodontics. And we offer and pediatric dentistry in our new Helen Webster Children’s Dental Center, a 7-chair pediatric wing at our Santa Cruz clinic. We are one of only two providers in the county providing sliding scale fees for low-income people. We focus on offering the highest quality facility and care; 96% of patients consistently rate their experience as Good/Excellent in our annual satisfaction surveys. We operate two programs to help combat the two biggest barriers to care: cost and transportation. Our Outreach program brings services to nearly 25 different venues throughout Santa Cruz County while our Dientes Cares program helps make dental care affordable for all. Smiles are important!
