About DigiPrax (Pty)
DigiPrax was established in 2013 with the aim of assisting medical practitioners in digitising their practice. Our Vision is to change the flow of information to better serve the medical profession. Our Mission is to provide access to an affordable, intelligent and customisable practice management system. digiPrax is a unique Practice Management Application, developed with the view in mind to incorporate specific elements which are lacking from other PMA and EDI systems. The system developers aimed to implement an all-in-one process and workflow management software for billing and clinical data which can maintain the correlation between these often separated categories of information, thus enabling a proper closed loop in managing the health of patients and providing healthcare professionals to both, have the tools to manage this process and possess the tools necessary to bill effectively for services rendered. digiPrax incorporates all the standard features of a PMA; Patient demographics, Appointment scheduling, Accounting and Reporting, but also boasts of incorporated electronic health record, appointment reminders, various communication channels, multiple sites, online booking functionality, any hardware device friendly and many unique features, at a reduced price to the market. Our incorporated EDI (digiSwitch), allows healthcare professionals to make use of one system for all claim billing and processing. The system offers real time transactions to medical schemes, offering the user peace of mind. The system contains industry approved procedural and diagnostic coding, ensuring accurate billing and minimum claim rejections. The program is easy to access and regular updates of the software ensure accuracy of data. Part of DigiPrax's vision is to improve the working conditions and careers of medical practitioners. We believe that digiPrax, the unique Practice Management Application with EDI functionality, will assist us in achieving our objective.
