About DiMar Group Spa

Our story begins in 1981 when Angelo Cionco established the first work room in Valentano with 8 employees including Fabio Martinelli. In 1990 Martinelli decides to open his own work room. The two entrepreneurs joined in 1999, Di.Mar Srl was born and a Leather-goods district was established, which had about 80 employees.. In 2012, in response to customer growth demands , we decided to create more companies, each dedicated to a brand: Di.Mar S.r.l., Bottega Pieffe S.r.l., I.P.V. Srl based in Valentano and Cover S.r.l. based in Campli in the Teramo area, reproducing a step by step that has already taken place in the Valentano district. In 2015 DiMar Group Srl was born and in March 2019 the 5 companies merge to form DiMar Group Spa (a company owned by the Martinelli and Cionco families), thus celebrating 20 years from the official birth and with the aim of ensuring new momentum towards production models based on the principles of Sustainability for people (the company has been SA8000 certified for 3 years) and the environment , process and product innovation based on principles voted to Lean Thinking and Circular Economy. Today DiMar Group Spa has more than 432 direct employees and over 150 artisans who collaborate exclusively with the company, operating on two production districts: Valentano, in the province of Viterbo, and Campli, in the province of Teramo. For DiMar Group, people are fundamental for the management of processes and transformation activities, leading to the creation of high quality "Made in Italy" products. Furthermore, in order to deal with the new market challenges the company is structuring itself with a managerial team alongside the owner, to bring organizational and managerial proficiency and tools, guaranteeing besides a modern corporate governance also the generational passage for the next years.
