Direct Med Clinic uses the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model to provide a solution to two big problems in health care today: cost and access. A person becomes a member of the clinic by paying a monthly membership fee. Then, anytime they come to the clinic for treatment it is free. The clinic treats all primary care and urgent care needs. By providing direct, transparent, and affordable access to primary care, many people with chronic medical problems that have previously gone untreated can now be taken care of which prevents end-organ damage when chronic conditions are not controlled. On a large scale, employers who have struggled to provide health care benefits to employees can now do so without high deductibles that limit access. Small employers that have not been able to provide health care benefits to employees due to cost can now do so by directly contracting with Direct Med Clinic. Our model is duplicatable and sustainable because it inherently provides value. We offer a spectrum of services from primary care to urgent care to occupational medicine. We are not bound by traditional reimbursement systems so, through our virtual care and HIPAA compliant app/tools, we can expand our access way beyond a single brick and mortar clinic which allows us to touch even more lives.
