All of our services begin with a personal, client interview (by phone) where we do a ‘deep dive’ using your old resume as a roadmap to review your experience and education as well as expectations for the future. When writing a resume, format, length, content, and even font choice are considered. Plus, to make it impactful, skills and accomplishments are emphasized. You want to showcase the successes in your prior positions that will be valuable to your next employer. After reviewing your resume draft with you, we begin the revision cycle, going through as many revisions as needed until you are satisfied. The LinkedIn profile needs to compliment and not contradict your resume information. Employers, job titles, and length of employment should be the same in both places. Beyond that, LinkedIn profiles need to incorporate the key words and phrases applicable to the new position and industry. Once your profile has been re-written, you are given a draft and we collaborate on the revisions you want made. With interview coaching, the goal is to make you nimble and able to confidently address any questions you are asked. Done over the phone, coaching sessions concentrate on general and industry specific questions, your responses, a critique of your answers, and brainstorming better approaches.
