Established in 1967 by Gerald Dow, Dow Hydraulic Systems started out with a single honing machine in a garage and a vision for the future. Today, after more than 50 years and 3 generations of Dow Family leaders, it operates in over 25,000 sq. ft. in 1 campus and employs around 100 people. Much of the success can be accredited to the second generation of Dow family members that have been able to take their father’s vision and turn it into a successful, reputable, and well known leader in the aerospace industry. Dow Hydraulic Systems proudly claims AS9100, NADCAP, and other industry leading certifications. These commitments to quality, productivity and integrity have earned Dow Hydraulic Systems a worthy reputation and the respect of the industry. Dow Hydraulic Systems is one of the few companies in the United States to offer “one stop shop” in the servo field. With this title Dow is able to manufacture spool and sleeve components as well as precision lap fitting of spool and sleeve assemblies at ultra-close tolerance. They proudly use their expertise in testing and grinding precision servo valves and have the expertise and ability to fabricate, assemble, and test actuation assemblies. This unique combination of being able to serve all the actuator needs of their customers and a dedication to quality and integrity continues to make them a first choice for their customers.
