About DTP Thermoelectrics
Active thermal management is needed in our homes, work environments, scientific apparatuses, and in an increasing number of electronic systems. New demands for effective, vibration and emission free thermal management include electric vehicle HVAC, night vision and infrared camera systems, advanced temperature control of the next generation of computer processors and a myriad of environmental controls for human wellbeing. DTP Thermoelectrics, LLC was formed out of Lon Bell Consulting (founded in 2014), to build on our successful research into new methods to improve the performance of solid state thermoelectric (TE) electric power to thermal power conversion systems. We have fundamentally redesigned and restructured TE materials based on our proprietary advancements in modifying TE material properties to optimize efficiency and thermal power output. We use Distributed Transport Properties (DTP) to increase functionality beyond that possible with standard TE material system design and fabrication methods. Compared to all existing TE thermal management systems, our proprietary technology increases efficiency by 5% to 30% and thermal pumping capacity from 40% to over 300%. With DTP technology, we address the cost, size, and performance limitations that restricted the commercial viability of previous TE system designs. We have initiated design and development of a proprietary generation of electric powered solid-state cooling and heating systems. These products will enable a new generation of highly effective solid-state, vibration and emission free, durable, highly reliable, lightweight and cost-effective thermal management technology for the automotive, commercial, electronic, industrial and residential market sectors.
