About Dubai Medical College for Girls
Dubai Medical College is the first medical college in the UAE established in 1986 and provides opportunities for girls to pursue medical education in UAE. The college is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools by the World Health Organization (WHO) since 2000. The medical degree awarded by DMC is recognized by GMC, UK and the ECFMG, USA. The college has implemented the EFQM excellence model comparable to the Malcolm Baldrige model and was therefore awarded the ‘Dubai Quality Award” in 2011. Dubai Medical College offers a distinguished Bachelor Program in Medicine and Surgery, and accepts students from all nationalities, providing a learning environment that fosters high moral values to create socially responsible global physicians. With 1400 graduates practicing medicine across the world and a campus that includes professors and students from more than 40 different countries, DMC has earned a reputation as one of the best centers for medical education and a beacon of academic excellence.
