Founded more than 30 years ago, East Trans has the experience and resources to provide a reliable, cost effective and comprehensive logistical service to companies throughout the United Kingdom and the immediate European continent. Based on the east coast of the United Kingdom, East Trans operates from Immingham, with an extensive managed fleet. East Trans has traditionally focused on the short sea container market that has evolved from its historic association with the Icelandic shipper, Eimskip UK Ltd. However over the past years evolved to one of the largest curtainsided operators in Lincolnshire. With the emergence of the River Humber as a natural short sea hub for container activity, East Trans has been able to simultaneously increase its share of this specialist market. At the same time East Trans also extends its logistical expertise to several industrial manufacturers within the region. Awarded on its reputation, East Trans has been able to transpose its historic skills into the most demanding and time sensitive palletised market. In October 2008, East Trans moved to its new operating centre in Stallingborough with 120,000 sq.ft storage capacity. Within the new development there is a 40,000 sq.ft ambient warehouse. Partially racked it is ideally suited to the storage and handling of clean goods within a dust free environment. This continued investment in the very best in vehicle and computing technology, that is underpinned with a philosophy of continuous staff and driver training allows us to supply you – the customer – with a total logistics solution.
