At Eco Energy Sense we have two unique, innovative and cost effective energy saving devices available. They are both retrofit for commercial refrigeration equipment, chillers, cold rooms, bar fridges, can & bottle fridges and vending machines. EcoCube is our latest product we now have the full patent. EcoCube is a retrofitted, energy and carbon reduction device that works on commercial refrigeration for non-perishable products, under counter bar fridges, all bottles and can fridges and open display cabinets, wine fridges and vending machines. It works by means of a motion sensor, linked to the control box, which has a full range of timing options and settings. This device effectively switches off the appliance when no motion is detected within its vicinity within a pre-set timescale. The timescale can be set to suit the operational requirements of any business. It also switches the unit on when normal motion is detected. The unit is normally situated behind the refrigeration unit, only the sensor is visible. Savings on running costs, energy and carbon are dependent on opening/working hours of the site, but in our experience they usually around 40% to 80%. EcoCube reduces wear and tear on the equipment, it also reduces maintenance, it is IP66 accredited, has a CE number, it also has surge protection built into the system. EcoCube was designed and is manufactured in the UK.
