About EDEN Association

Eden Association is an organization specializing in trauma therapy and works for the benefit of young girls and women. The association believes that a thriving and healthy society is one that treats every individual as equal, regardless of gender, cultural, or social differences. Women have always been influenced by societal constructs and have paid a personal, professional, and sometimes extreme price for it. We at Eden Association believe that to live fulfilling and independent lives, we must live consciously and learn how to expand our choices. Therefore, we have developed the Eden Model, a platform for personal and social change and growth - the model helps to critically examine reality and change it to the reality we choose. A Bit of History Eden Association was founded in 1997 and initially engaged in various educational projects. In 2005, Eden's internal program was established in Karmia Kibbutz near Ashkelon and initially treated ten girls. Since 2007, Eden's internal program has expanded, and today it treats about 60 girls suffering from complex trauma who come from home to receive tailored treatment. The internal program is known as a particularly professional framework in the field of domestic external placement in Israel, thanks to the work according to the Eden Model - a model for feminist dialectical trauma-focused therapy.
