About Electrome Lab

Electrome Lab offers a unique, real-time service for recording and analyzing multiple psychophysiological signals—such as brain activity, muscle tension, heart rate, and eye movements—in extreme environments such as human spaceflight. Our system transforms complex biosignals into actionable insights for enhancing physical and cognitive performance, reducing injury risk, and optimizing training and rehabilitation. At its core is the SQUID device, a compact, wireless recorder—smaller than a credit card—designed to operate in a wide range of environments. It connects to various electrode setups or smart apparel with built-in sensors, enabling the recording of muscle activity, heart rate and variability, eye movements, and brain signals. The system includes: • User-friendly software for data visualization, annotation, and storage on a PC • Remote physiological support from our expert team, who generate personalized reports, develop custom biofeedback protocols, and design individual training and rehabilitation programs Fully customizable, the system allows for both in-person and fully remote testing—making it ideal for field studies, tele-rehabilitation, and even electrophysiological research in space. Thanks to its lightweight, multifunctional design, the SQUID device is an excellent candidate for portable labs with shared access aboard orbital stations or integration into EVA spacesuits for monitoring locomotor patterns in reduced gravity, such as on the Moon or Mars.
