Electron Energy Corporation (EEC) is an expert developer and leading producer of rare earth magnets. With approximately 130 employees today, EEC is positioned as a significant American rare earth magnet producer with customers throughout the world. Founded in 1970, we are headquartered in Landisville, PA. We occupy 40,000 SF of office and manufacturing space in a building designed and constructed in 1985 specifically for the production of rare earth permanent magnets and magnetic systems. We have significantly expanded capacity with the opening of our second manufacturing facility in August of 2012. The additional 44,800 SF, located at 300 Running Pump Road in Lancaster, PA, more than doubles EEC’s floor space and enables us to improve efficiency and meet the growing demand for EEC products and services. The building houses the finishing operations—machining, testing, magnetizing, packing and shipping. The new facility also enables EEC to expand production of complex and larger magnet assemblies. Our talented staff continually exceeds expectations of customers, including military and aerospace prime contractors, as well as medical and oil exploration companies. We provide magnets and magnet assemblies for demanding applications such as the JSF, F-18, Patriot, Predator, and Navy nuclear programs. Our customization and ability to precisely control material compositions allow us to partner with our customers as a virtual ‘in-house’ source of magnet technology.
