About En Community Services Society
En Community Services Society (ECSS) is a Voluntary Welfare Organisation (VWO) registered on 11 March 2003, and incorporated as a charity on 1 September 2003. ECSS is a full member of the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) since 1 February 2004, and achieved Institution of Public Character (IPC) status since 2005. ECSS has a deep passion for community building, to see Every Home; A Happy Home. In our early days, ECSS focused mainly on Family Life Education through parenting workshops and student care centres. Today, our work has expanded to include engaging programmes for youths, family units, seniors and casework and counselling. As a family of dedicated staff, volunteer teams, corporate and community partners, we continue to enrich family units and prevent physical and emotional deterioration of our beneficiaries. Thus, ECSS contributes to the social sector by providing upstream/preventive programmes to our beneficiaries. Today, our mission remains the same; to Touch and Train Individuals to Transform Families. ECSS does this through our signature programmes: After School Engagement (ASE), Youth Out Reach (YOR), Intergenerational Learning Programme (ILP), Tri-Love Family (parent support group), Fitness Functioning Exercises, Ukulele and Singing classes, TCM Wellness, Active Ageing Ambassador, and many volunteering initiatives from both the juniors and seniors. Join us to inject hope into our communities, as we dream of seeing Every Home A Happy Home, so that our nation will have a strong foundation to move into the future!
