About Encouragement Media Group

For 36 years, 89.5 KVNE has served as The Voice of Encouragement for Tyler, Longview, the greater East Texas area, and beyond. 89.5 KVNE is the flagship of Encouragement Media Group, a group of non-commercial, listener-funded radio stations, operating as a 501(c)3 non-profit ministry. Sister station 91.3 KGLY serves as The Voice of Worship and began in 1988. Together they serve our listeners with the best in Christian music, programs, concerts and community outreach projects. East Texans have voted 89.5 KVNE the #1 radio station and #1 morning show in East Texas for the past 8 years through Locals Love Us. Encouragement Media Group launched two new radio stations in January 2020. The Well (94.3 & 95.3) will be a Bible Teaching station featuring America’s premier Christian Bible teachers. Fuzión (102.3 & 103.1) is a Spanish Christian Music station featuring praise and worship music to reach our growing Hispanic population in East Texas and across the nation. The mission of Encouragement Media Group is to glorify God by encouraging people, connecting our community and pointing people to Jesus Christ.
