About enia architects
Enia is an architectural practice founded in 2003 by Mathieu Chazelle, architect and engineer, Simon Pallubicki, architect and cabinetmaker, and Brice Piechaczyk, architect and engineer - all of whom are professors. Present in France and India, the agency brings together more than 100 passionate individuals of 28 nationalities and diverse backgrounds working across Europe, Africa and Asia on a wide variety of projects. Their purpose: to respond with acuity, generosity, and ingenuity to the major challenges of the present by drawing upon an engaging and poetic narrative for the future. University campuses, hospital centers, transport infrastructures, headquarters, research centers, or technological centers, but also housing, cultural spaces, or restaurants… We willingly embrace complexity and navigate confidently between contexts, programs, and scales. We strive to fully express the uniqueness of each of our projects, while creating the conditions for their evolution. This forward-looking attitude is further reinforced by the research activities that have been carried out since the creation of the agency, through its in-house laboratory eniaLAB. eniaLAB provides an additional space for reflection, experimentation and innovation through interaction between teams and students, interns and PhD candidates, as well as serving as a platform to initiate numerous collaborations with academics, industries and institutions such as Institut for the Land Transition (‘Institut de la Transition Foncière’) whose research is co-chaired by Enia architects since 2023.
