About Equatorial Launch Australia (ELA)
Equatorial Launch Australia delivers customised, flexible and full-service access to space from the Australian Space Centre in Cape York, Australia. Building the spaceport of the future, ELA is developing a multi-user commercial spaceport at 15 degrees south of the equator. ELA and the proximity of the ASC to the equator, provides access to a wide range of orbits and inclinations, offering rocket companies and their payload customers: operational freedom, significant economic benefits and simplicity/reduced risk for both their launch and overall mission design. We provide a comprehensive suite of value-added services, supporting the mission and launch planning, regulatory licensing and compliance assistance, launch preparation and conduct, recovery of vehicles/stages, payload management and fuel storage and preparation. Our method of operation is to anticipate and reduce client risk and associated admin/logistics burden for all operational launch scenarios. Due to our low-cost base, equatorial launch benefits, scale and flexible access to space, ELA provides a world class value proposition and now that we have completed our Phase 1 development can rightly claim to be the world’s premier multi-user commercial spaceport. "You build the rockets... we'll take care of the rest."® Media enquiries: media@ela.space
