About EquipALife
EquipALife is a non-profit with the mission to provide a statewide system of Assistive Technology Services for Minnesotans with disabilities. The Alternative Finance Program and Access to Telework programs provide low interest loans to individuals with disabilities to purchase assistive technology. EquipALife programs are collaborative efforts and partnerships created to build capacity statewide for the provision of Assistive Technology Services. The assistive technology Lending, Demonstration and Reuse programs are designed to enhance awareness through hands-on opportunities to try the equipment before purchase to ensure the correct device is chosen. EquipALife works closely with Vocational Rehabilitation and MN Waiver Programs on a fee-for-service basis to ensure access to these services. EquipALife is the only statewide nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to supporting individuals with disabilities, their families and professionals by assisting them to access adaptive technology devices and services.
