Our Proud Heritage: Essdar Group was first established in the year 2007, after the global financial crisis, as an independent and privately held investment banking boutique in the UAE. Since inception, Essdar Group had the privilege of advising on numerous transactions including capital raising, acquisitions, restructurings, refinancings and other capital market advisory transactions.We were one of the only middle east entities to successfully fund raise under our asset management platform immediately after Lehman crisis in the year 2009. We made the biggest Middle East special situation investments under our asset management platform and achieved a successful exit from all the investments in year 2011-12. In September, 2012 the management team completed a rare management buy-out in the Middle East, by acquiring 100% stake in Essdar Group. Global Experience/Regional Focus: The Senior Team at has worked in major financial centers globally such New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and Mumbai. The team has completed over US$ 50 billion worth of capital market transactions in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asian region.
