The Christmas after I got my first car, someone gave me a set of jumper cables as a gift. That gift had instructions. I was supposed to jump start at least two other people’s cars for every time that I needed to have mine jump started. My father would often repeat a phrase made famous in our family by Great Grandpa Passmore, “You can’t always return a favor, but you can always pass it along to someone else.” I have been given a gift in form of a collection of wisdom from various people, movie quotes, motivational posters and other sources with specific instructions; that I am to share this material in a way that motivates others to take initiative and action in their lives.
